Title: Do all S4's rattle?
Post by: SeanB on October 18, 2010, 04:23:33 PM
 ???
My S4RS rattles noticeably (almost sounds like a vacuum leak) when at idle until I pull in the clutch lever... any clues as to the cause or do Duc's just rattle?

Welcome to dry clutch heaven [moto]

Ducati trade mark. Normal. Desireable.

My bike rattles quite a bit, too. And by 'quite a bit', I mean a woman once ran out of a shop, frantically signaling me to kill my engine as there was "something definitely wrong with your [my] bike."

It's not a problem - it's a conversation starter.  ;D

You can have a dirty, ratty looking dry clutch open cover Duc held together by duct tape and it will still turn more heads than a herd of shiny Hon/Kaw/Suz/Yam sportbikes.

P.S. once you open it up wear earplugs.
