While I was adjusting my chain tonight, I noticed a bunch of tight spots and frozen links. This is my first time changing the chain, and I dont know what size to get. Is it a 520? Or something else?
First step.... what year and size Monster is it for?
What bike? It's probably 525
Hey Mike, check out http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/ (http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/)
I just bought a whole sprocket/chain set up from them. The chain I got was a DID Professional x-ring chain w/rivet for $98. It was gold and I believe it was a 520-110. Also, on the sprocket/chain page, there is a chart to find your size chain. Good luck.

it's a 97 m750
Shows it at a 520-98. CA has that exact one for $89. Thats a good deal.

Just ordered it. Thanks for the help!
That chain will look really good on your bike. The chain isn't a bright gold, but a nice muted gold color. Similar to the gold on the brake parts. [thumbsup]
