Title: Turn indicator mod?
Post by: Timmy Tucker on October 21, 2010, 08:21:22 PM
There was a post on TOB that had mod for the turn indicator that added diodes that helped eliminate cross bleed between the left and right signals when using LED's. The post is still there, but the mod info has been removed. Anyone know about this mod?

Diodes, or resistors? I replaced my rear turn signals with LEDs + resistors - no problems after nearly 2 years.  [thumbsup]

It was diodes, added in the gauge cluster IIRC, used in conjuction with an LED compatible flasher relay. I'm trying to avoid using resistors, as I've heard too many stories of shit getting melted.

I can probably figure it out, but I've got too much other stuff on my plate right now.
