rearsets are stock position on the mosnter frame!

i hope the bike sits higher overall because that would just mean it still cant achieve lean angles without dragging the pegs!

Well, it's an early '851' style Monster frame with a 'ST' style pushrod/shock/rocker setup. and a SSS.
Not necessarily an ST rocker, though.
Looks wild, maybe OK.

Not digging the back part of the frame.  [coffee]

i figured it's probably something like the Febur's SSS conversion for the hooped monsters. i'm sure the rocker levels out with the rider, but seems to me the shock is a bit too long. but who am i to say. it's a nice different build. i really like the paint scheme.

You have a vendetta against me today or something!! The poop photo now this!

I'm getting out my geometry book and protractor right now. We will know the exact distance shortly (give me a month).

* based on the shadow on the ground at 1:35 and the relative size of the red car he is roughly 1 (red car) car length from impact. About 7 feet.
 ;)

i was basing my estimate on the number of rock pebbles i counted on the ground between his front tyre and the car, and that's spain so they use the common sevillian sediment, which have an approximate diameter of 5mm.  i counted 2200 pebbles between his front tyre and the rear of the car, and added a 20% confidence interval.  2200 * 5mm = 11000 mm = 433 in = 36 ft.

of course, if they are using the more expensive portuguese portomaio pebbles, those have an average diameter of 3mm, so adjust accordingly.

you kids..

you forget the spanish factor.

It's probably not even there, and they lied about almost hitting it....or they did hit it, and lied about not hitting it.

after effects did the rest

(not my opinion -- stolen from top gear episode....same way ferrari can meet the new EU average emissions laws....LIE ABOUT IT.  How many hydrocarbons do we produce?  What's a good number? 2?  2!)

"maths" is short for "mathematics" outside the US.

I use the English term to be snooty and when I am excelling in argument.
