Post by: Bones on October 23, 2010, 05:07:58 PM I mounted mine in this area as well, but tilted the horn down because it is not supposed to be mounted on its side like that. they say you'll only get about a year out of it by mounting it that way. outlets are supposed to be pointing down.

Out of necessity my 696 was somewhat outside of this. Not sure I'd mount it horizontally though.
