Title: 900SS/SP - project? Post by: TAftonomos on October 24, 2010, 05:03:15 PM I've got the chance to buy my first duc/bike bike (900ss/sp) back for pretty cheap. It's a 900, exhaust, 41mm FCrs, das it. Sans fairings, with a round headlight....it ain't pretty.

Keep 2V engine, tank and most of the frame. +999 swingarm / wheel / brakes / shock setup (leave aluminum finish) +999 front fork / wheel / brakes (999 triples mod'd to use 900stem) +999 rear seat/cowl (modify 900 frame in the seat area) +999 rearsets (frame tabs to fit) +999 kickstand Add a small front cowl that is quasi-vintage racer looking (I just sold some 851 that would have been perfect) White frame as all the great Supersports were with that color Bodywork probably Superlight yellow w/white panels and pinstripe Wheels would be painted black with polished rim lips Large tach assembly with tiny LED speedo gauge (inside or almost hidden) Ride it and enjoy.
