So I got dragged into seeing this movie. I went, I begged to take the bike. But alas, to the A4 it was (her chick car), in AC we rolled up. And as my ass got sore for the first hour and a half, the next what seemed like eternity my ass was numb. As I exited the theatre I felt like less of a man, and ashamed. I had liked the show, although that was until now a secret. But I felt like less a man, because it was "THE WORST MOVIE EVER"

My girl friend got sort of huffy with me when I said " How could it be any different than just another episode like on cable when it was on." Kung Fu Panda did more business , not that I want to see that either.

What are you talking about?! That movie was AWESOME! I laughed, I cried, and then I cried some more. Then I wet my pants! Especially in that one scene where, um...Samantha, yeah, Samantha, says to, um...that other one with the blonde hair...
Actually, I got dragged to it, but then got to walk out (after FIVE minutes, yay!) because the baby started to cry. I didn't want to get angrily shushed by a theater-load of angry women (far as I could tell I was the only guy there), so I took the baby out and my wife happily watched the rest of the show on her own. I'm pretty sure them ladies woulda lynched me if I didn't leave.
I went to the bar next door (which had the Lakers game on) and checked out the bikes outside. Worked out better all the way around.
FWIW, I did like the cable show. Don't farking tell anyone though...

Okay, yes there were 4 guys there. Two old married ones, and one guy in his 30's. He and I shared an "lets blow this place and get out of dodge" look, but I was stuck. It was so bad, I pray no one else faces this evil.

A movie tops the box office by posting how many millions of dollars it made. Read that again. Not the number of tickets sold, the money made. There is a key difference. Movies are compared over the year, and dollars are used for comparison, rather than # of tickets sold.
Movies costing $10/ticket will certainly gross more than those that cost $7/ticket a few years ago.
Want a revelation? All movies are "blockbusters" now practically, even if its a flop. The definition of a blockbuster is only that it brings in $100M.
It used to mean a hyooge financial success. Now, a movie could still be a 'net-loser', and be a blockbuster.

Having said this, I cannot believe they made a friggin' movie based on that show. I've never watched an episode (I'm not gay and I'd sooner set fire to my crotch), but based on previews the show seems pretty damned unrealistic. Someone that looks like the dudes on the show is gonna go out of their way to bang Sarah Jessica Horseface or one of the other mummified hags??? Wrong.
