Title: Riding two up with high mounts Post by: 671M900 on October 30, 2010, 09:25:34 PM So, I've never had a bike with highmounts, nor a cf exhaust. Currently, the high mounts on my bike are attached to a bracket under the seat. Do these pipes get hot enough to burn through jeans or riding leathers? I plan to ride 2 up every now and then.
Or would it be more reasonable to go to a muffler shop and have them chop and weld new piping for low mounts? Of course, this assumes the packing is intact.

I do have the stock rearsets, so the pegs are there. Been riding, all good! |
