Want to put a newer set of gauges on my 98 m750 what kind of options are out there?
Also looking for a new upper triple clamp to clean things up any recommendations I was thinking cycle cat

You may have some trouble finding a cyclecat top triple, as they aren't making them in large numbers anymore  :-\

As for new / updated gauges, do a quick search through this forum, as there are a lot of threads on this subject.

The real questions are:

How much do you want to spend?
Options for gauges run from ~$100 (used gauges from other model monsters of the 'older than 2001' variety on eBay) to $600+ (Motogadget with all the add-on sensors)

How much wiring do you want to do?
Used gauges from other monsters should be close to plug-and-play with a few extra bits of wiring. Something aftermarket will require you to wire it in to the existing harness and/or cannibalize your old gauge connector and wire it up to the new one.

Your options depend a lot on your answers.

Ya I have heard that about cycle cat I was just wondering if there was a better option than shopping around for forever maybe rizoma or something. As for the gauges money isnt too big of a deal  but I dont want to do a ton of wiring. I was thinking maybe something from a newer version of my bike that has the black housing with the two big gauges and the mini cluster up top with the digital odometer. Would swapping this require anything other than a take one off and plug in the new one?

I only know about the older bikes like yours.

The pre-immobilizer bikes (2001 or older) had basically the same connector and the same wiring. The only difference was the fuel injected bikes included a tach wire on the wire marked "J" (white / blue) and this same wire handled the "sidestand down" warning light on the older (non fuel injected) bikes.

Newer (post immobilizer) bikes... I have no idea.

I checked into that website but im really only looking to do the upper triple otherwise those look good and im still going to have to think about those. Did speedymoto make a triple for the pre 2001 monsters?

Nope. You've got the small-diameter steering stem with a top bolt rather than top nut, and you tighten to the top steering head bearing with an eccentric-wrench nut. note, you also have tapered steering head bearings from the factory, not ball bearings.

So, no Speedymoto for you.

I have two sets of IMA Triples, one for superbike forks (on my Monster) and one for OEM monster forks (now on Milli's Monster). I am very happy with them, the Costas are great. (Both of my sets are black).
