Hi all,
I just wanted to let the local folk know that I'm selling the 620. I've had some damn fun rides on this little monster.

Dude, we got enough for the 620 to get this:

And this:
And these:
And new tires for both of them. And Ryan gave me a new helmet! The moto gods have smiled on me.
Now for the 900SS I just have to:
Tires (maybe valve stems)
Battery
Chain (maybe sprockets)
Clean the carbs
Check every damn bolt on the thing and replace many of them
Paint the Shark Skinz
And a bunch of other misc stuff. But nothing major that I know of.
The funniest part of picking up my bike is when we saw this:
And I say, "Decided to finish off those tires with a some burnouts, huh?" And silentbob, with a totally straight face looks me square in the eye and says, "No." [laugh] Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.
sac
Yep, it is the "silent type" that you need to be careful with. [laugh]
Congrats on your new rides. That Honda is sweet [bow_down]
I am truly happy for you [moto]

I started taking bits off of her tonight.
I should have her up and running in a couple of weeks. Might get tires and a battery as soon as tomorrow. I'll have to spend a whole lot of hours cleaning the excessive amounts of chain lube that are splattered every where. And a few more hours after that replacing rusty bolts with stainless. But there is no major surgery needed (that I know of).
A little grease here a little tightening there and she's good to go.
I may leave her apart long enough for me to drop 10 lbs though. Just so I don't look like a sausage in my new leathers. :-[
;D

Thanks, I love this bike! But I have a little extra to do to her now. I crashed this Sunday. :-\
Only minor damage though.
sac
yeah, but at least it's just the kickstand spring and the shift linkage. No broken levers or pegs. [thumbsup]
The only big thing I can see is you have to replace the white zip-tie holding on your oil cooler with black, to match the other zip-ties holding on the rest of the oil cooler!!! [laugh]
;D

Bummer, hope you're OK.
if you're uncomfortable sell it (to me). ;D
Okay, here's the parts needed list:
Clips ons (found on ebay)
Oil Cooler (found on ebay)
Grips (to be purchased from local moto store)
Adjustable Levers (to be purchased from local moto store)
Blinkers (to be purchased from local moto store)
Wind screen (eventually)
Brake and clutch lines (eventually)
Hopefully to be found in the parts bid at the local dealer:
Kick stand retraction spring
Rubber bump for fairing stay
Coupler at the end of the shifter rod.
Instead of the grips, just use that rubber tape I gave you. It's more comfortable than regular grips, and you can custom fit it exactly to your hands. It's what I did with Rosie. [thumbsup]
[bacon]
Thanks to Bacon Junkie. [thumbsup]
Got the new oil cooler and clip ons installed yesterday.
Just gotta get new oil and filter in her.
And new grips.
And turn signals.
And reinstall the mirrors.
And finish coat the fairing.
And get a new key made. Still. [roll]
Oh, and learn how to ride.
sac
Any time, my friend... [thumbsup]
It was more than repaid by you spatchcocking that chicken... ;)
Lunch was delicious, the purple carrots and Mel's stuffed artichoke were amazing! [drool]
