Title: Can't log in using Google Chrome on a Mac
Post by: spotcom on November 03, 2010, 01:59:19 PM
Hi

I use Google Chrome as my browser. Today for some reason when I clicked on the link to the site, it said "Hello Guest" instead of my user name (I usually log in "forever").

When I went to log in, it said there was an error with cookies and wouldn't let me.

All my other forum sites seem to still work fine, and further, when I use Safari (as I'm doing now), I have no problems.

Any clues as to what may have gone wrong in the last couple of days?

Cheers

That's odd.

Nothing has changed since the server migration a month ago.

I'd suggest trying to clear DMF cookies in that browser if you haven't, and type in the url and see if you can log in.

Use the log in on the forum page.

Let me know.

That worked.  [thumbsup]

I went to "Clear Browsing Data" and checked just the cookies and the cache, and it's now working fine.

Thanks.  :)
