I like cleaning off the grime and dead bugs. It's very Zen like. [bacon] I try and do it after it cools down or at least the next day. If I don't I'll eventually find reasons to blow it off until after the next spin. Secondarily, it also is a good way to look for potential mechanical problems. Maybe a nail in a tire that's not leaking yet, missing bolt/nut, fluid leak, etc.
