Uncle Ted is the man.  I would love to spend a weekend at his house, and I thought "Surviving Nugent" was an awesome show. (I don't like most television).

For a second I thought you were talking about this guy:

but he's the Michigan Madman.

Anyone else think it's funny she's wearing an animal print?

If by 'funny', you meant 'hot', yes.

Uncle Ted is awesome.  He is a great spokesman, and ambassador, for the NRA and the 2nd Amendment. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

I love this guy.

Seeing him next week in concert.  He is likely certifiable, but pure genius.

**I am no fan of guns/hunting/killing of any kind, for personal reasons, but definitely can dig the viewpoint**

I know, it's killing me ...

as to hunting

Mid Columbia Unit for black tail (nothing in two years cuz I'm lame)

emergency hunts in the Umatilla District (too easy to be any fun but at least you get some meat)

McKenzie unit and whatever unit Wikiup Res is in but haven't been there for years

I shifted into Rifle but Bow is more fun

I like Ted, love most of the music, respect the hunting stuff..... but I would get tired of the constant rant that comes out of him whenever a micophone is nearby. I would like to think it's toned down a notch at a personal level.

Grew up in Detroit and don't give a rats ass for Uncle Ted (who is the MotorCity Madman).

The E.J. Potter pic is awesome and he is the Michigan Madman BTW.  I've got about 12 times more respect for ol' EJ than Ted Nugent.

I bow hunt, gun hunt & am a vocal supporter of the whole Bill of Rights (including, but not limited to, the Second Amendment) -- and I don't think Ted's a particularly effective spokesman for any of 'em. Entertaining, maybe, but not my cup of tequila.

it goes like this

and I may have said it already

Ted is just like Freud

Freud says that all males wanna have sex with mom

in reality he is stating that a male who's needs are met in childhood by a woman will find that type of woman attractive later in life

he was being shocking and overly dramatic to get the point across

that is how I take Ted

Yes he comes across as a deranged lunatic

but if you can see past his personality

He believes you should eat healthy natural food

be self sufficent

and

all men have a sovereign right to defend themselves with the most effective means available

so sure

his effectiveness as a spokesman to certain demographics is questionable

but

can you show me a spokesman who isn't?

I like Ted

I agree with him on subjects and I disagree on subjects

I have a lot of respect for the man for having an opinion and defending it.

The MCM drove through and occasionally stopped by my hometown on his way up north for hunting season.  I bagged his groceries when I was 17.  I didn't know who he was until after the fact.  One of my many unknown-at-the-time close calls with celebrities.   [roll]

His daughter was at the neighbors all the time when were living in Ann Arbor.  She drove a nice Vette.
