Title: M1100 Head Removal
Post by: BRH on November 10, 2010, 04:41:33 AM
To remove the head on the vertical cylinder M1100, does this need the sub frame removed ?
Just looking at it, i would say it does or its a very close fit.
     Thanks

Just curious, why do you ask?

I am thinking about some head work and high comp pistons.

to drop the motor from the frame though, i think wouldn't be too hard and would give you better access for all that.

you would need an engine stand, something to hold the rear of the frame up when the rear wheel comes off.

WHEN i get the ability to do my upgrades, that's how I'm going to do it.
