Title: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: fasterblkduc on November 20, 2010, 06:43:52 AM Hey all, I thought you might enjoy this. This rider is a great kid with a lot of talent. I've had a lot of fun battles with him on the racetrack. Watch for him this year, he signed a deal with Ducati...he will be racing the 848 in AMA and stunting Monsters. His name is Aaron Colton, and he is a really nice kid with potential for a bright future.
This vid is pretty mellow but very cool. It's the first vid of him on the monster. Lazy Sunday a shoot with Aaron Colton (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnYn9srRd3Q#normal) Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: ab on November 20, 2010, 07:26:23 AM Pretty cool video and stunts. I only wish you got rid of the music and hear the engine's music.

He already got that feedback. ;D Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: Statler on November 20, 2010, 12:08:10 PM I envy the bike control.
and even for people who just don't like stunting, you HAVE to admit rolling burnouts into wheelies are just so damn cool. Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: orangelion03 on November 20, 2010, 12:21:38 PM [clap]
Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: derby on November 20, 2010, 01:48:42 PM I only wish you got rid of the music and hear the engine's music. prolly wouldn't sound too good during the slo-mo parts... honestly, the music w/o the engine noise "works" for the lazy sunday feel. Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: Veloce-Fino on November 20, 2010, 01:57:15 PM 1:40-1:50 is AWESOME
Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: TheoRex on November 20, 2010, 02:03:22 PM Some day when I grow up I want to be able to ride like that. Oh wait, i am grown up....mostly. [evil] That was very cool.

He has great control, and I wish him luck in AMA [thumbsup] Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: hadesducati848 on November 20, 2010, 06:49:50 PM i take it that an 1100? I doubt th 696 has the power to play like that... at least not the stock 696

I doubt th 696 has the power to play like that... at least not the stock 696 Well it doesn't have a single sided swing arm so it's not the 1100. Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: hadesducati848 on November 20, 2010, 07:27:49 PM Did you notice the size of the rear sprocket? lol no that you mention it yeah it is about the size of a pie pan Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: kopfjÀger on November 20, 2010, 09:29:08 PM Nice video. I really liked the slow motion shots. [clap]

I doubt th 696 has the power to play like that... at least not the stock 696 It's a 696. Ducati sponsors a 696 stunt team. Like DP says check out the rear sprocket. Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: fasterblkduc on November 21, 2010, 05:50:37 AM Big sprocket and some power are nice but I've seen him hop on a stock Zuma and do things that are just not right, [evil] or at least in theory...not even possible. ???
Aaron is a great kid and I wish him the best. [beer] Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: orangelion03 on November 21, 2010, 07:45:02 AM I really like that color scheme.
Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: Grrrly on November 21, 2010, 09:02:31 AM he used to ride with Jason Britton's stunt team. Then he worked with Chris Pfeiffer for a while, (I saw him at Indy MotoGP 2 years ago). He's been learning from the best!

favorite part is when he comes from 'off road' and wheelies the lil' stump ... dunno why, but I just love 'unconventional wheelie opportunities' Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: Monster Dave on November 22, 2010, 12:47:08 PM Geeze that was one long stoppie!!
Very cool! [thumbsup] Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: Spidey on November 22, 2010, 12:54:58 PM Man, I wish I had those kinds of skills. I'd love to get a bike to learn to stunt. And then find a buncha free time. And a new orthopedist.
Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: hadesducati848 on November 22, 2010, 01:59:35 PM after the 3rd time watching that video my GF came to see what ive been ignoring her for. she took one look at my face and told me "dont even think of doing that to my monster" then she went on to say something like if i i ever did that on her monster i have to move out. to which i replied "if i could do that, i wouldnt be living her to begin with"... apparently that was the wrong answer and now the keys for both her bike and mine are both hiding :-(
hahahahaha i have to start being a good boy again. Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: Monster Dave on November 22, 2010, 02:21:03 PM ....i have to start being a good boy again. LMAO :) Yeah how do we get ourselves in trouble? Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: nheaney696 on July 12, 2011, 08:04:37 PM :o Seriously...... that was the most mind blowing stuff I've seen done on a 696.....an impossible goal to aspire for, and possibly kill myself attempting. My heart aways flutters when I see from wheelies!
Title: Re: lazy sunday, monster stunt vid Post by: lawmaster891 on July 12, 2011, 08:43:26 PM very cool vid. i agree on the music i would rather hear the engine
