We watched this for family movie night via netflix streaming. Anyone else seen it? Thoughts?
It was weird, like German weird.
'The Human Centipede' Trailer HD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX8fKLjC__c#normal)
You have an interesting concept of family movie night.
Those girls and the asian guy were in town for a comic convention last weekend.
Of the people in the human centipede, i thought the middle girl was kinda hot......
as far as the movie goes - the Dr was pretty badass. He played a great character. The overall movie (and lines there-in) were pretty weak, but it wasnt made for the amazing storyline. it was made to shock you, and make you want to look away (but you can't!)
SPOILER ALERT:
I'm interested to find out what happened to the middle girl. Did she live? was she saved by the german police? did she get left there to starve to death?
There is supposed to be a second movie (with 12 people in the centipede!). Is there she going to become the next person to strive to make the centipede? ......so many questions!
Daniel Tosh does a great review/spoiler of the film in 25 minutes.

[laugh]
this seems like a pretty f'd up movie
Very f'd up, and Daniel tosh is hilarious. His standup is funnier than tosh.0, but that spoiler alert episode was pretty spot on
Messed up movie but a great review by Tosh. [puke] [laugh]
Probably not gonna watch that. Seeing as how people's lips are getting attached to people's assholes and what not.
Really? Can't imagine why you wouldn't want to own that one on blue ray.
;D
Added to the Nexflix que.
Now, did anybody watch the "Splice" trailer that came up at the end?
JM
Well now I have to
Brb
I'm all for make the beast with two backsed up movies, but I think I might pass on that one.
The doc's lip-to-asshole diagrams in the trailer just made me shake my head and laugh.....

I watched about 30 minutes of it total, including zooming thru it.
It was just weird, nothing really redeeming about it.
Good weird = Evil Dead 2
Stupid weird = Human Centipede
Hilarious review!! [laugh] Loved the part when "A" poops in "B's" mouth!! [bang] [puke] I also have to agree that's one demented flick to watch on "family movie night". That's setting the standards pretty high. Wonder what y'all do for Thanksgiving? [laugh] [popcorn] Curious minds want to know. ;D
On easter, we watch zombie movies. :o
"Family movie night" was a bit of a joke. Our intention with this was to see how far we could get before shutting it off. Like rubbernecking at a car wreck, we couldn't shut it off.

Hahaha awesome.
the review was awesome especially.
"ok this is bs, since when does a woman stop immediately when realizing they have a flat? they will drive on the rim for 2 years, but now that they are in a rental car, they are trying to save the rim? wtf?"
dude was hilarious with his review.
tosh.0 is a pretty good show too

saw an woman on the highway yesterday in a caddy ctx -- front left tyre flat as hell and she's going 50 on the rim.
WTF?
We tried to do family movie night again with Cormac McCarthy's THE ROAD. I think we got 17 mins in when we shut it off. It was just too make the beast with two backsing depressing. I tried to watch it on my own and couldn't make it through.
Yup, the road can change your mood.
Here is one for family movie night if you haven't seen it yet. It is called "Frontiers".

German cinema is based on shock value. It aims to disturb you as much as posible.
It's working.
Sorta looks like Hostel, which too is a WTF kinda movie.

That looks visually amazing. I'll definitely short list this one. It reminded me of Jean Pierre Jeunet and Mar Caro's work (Delicatessen, City of Lost Children)
So I finally watched Human Centipede. I couldn't stop laughing during the whole movie. From the point they showed the picture of the Rotweilers on, I was rolling. Good stuff.
I watched on my iphone
Horrible movie
"FEEEEEED HERRRRRRRR!!!!!"
Nasty
Wow, I'm still laughing. This was shocking in a 2 girls 1 cup kind of way. Something I would have never thought of, but now can never erase.
