I said I wouldn't
but
When I was in front of all that great food
Well
I caved in a big way.
That is all.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving :D
It would just be wrong if it were any other way.
I do not disagree
I started grazing at 10 am... :P
Nice
[thumbsup]
I never even had dinner because I ate so much f#@king food at lunch! Talk about post lunch coma? Damn! It was hard to stay awake to see the Cowboys loose!! [laugh] Oh well, the kinfolks are Cowboys and Saints fans... can't loose that one! [thumbsup] Back to food. I'm still stuffed at 10:00PM!! All in all a good day! Hope yours was too!
Happy Turkey Day to all our troops overseas! You all rock!! Thank you!! [thumbsup] [bow_down]
light breakfast - massive lunch - beer for dinner. win.
tummie hurts....
From the beginning of the day to the end... my weight went up 13 lbs.
Not quite as good as last year, but still a pretty solid showing.

Recommending you keep a toilet plunger handy for the next day or 2
I didn;t eat a whole lot as I was busy helping my wife prepare and entertain.
Did grab a fist sized chunk of skin off the turkey and shove the whole thing in my mouth. Was very hard to chew that much at once. [laugh]
I have a seven pound beef ribeye roast that's going on the smoker for Thanksgiving, Phase 2.
[evil]
I ate one plate of food, mainly veggies with one slice of turkey and one slice of ham. Desert was one slice of pie. I am such a good girl!
Id say.
If I had that kind of self control I would have groaned a lot less yesterday.
;D

hope it was crispy...
When I was a child my parents taught me something that was a good life lesson. Never take more than you need.

not as much as I thought it was going to be when I shoved it all in my mouth. It had a lot of fat in it and didn't seem to want to break into small enough pieces to actually allow me to swallow it. [cheeky]
Had a nice dinner with friends....
4 couples with no family in the area get together and chip in on making dishes
while carving the barbecue turkey came up with an idea for next year.
TurPhesAil
quail inside pheasant inside turkey
either indirect barbecued or smoked
we will prob have to practice a couple times first [evil]

That right there is the best part of Thanksgiving! [thumbsup]
We had a change in plans and didn't have nearly as many of Randimus' family here as anticipated so we (he) did turkey breast in the slow cooker. It was spectacular but I'm going to make the 'traditional" bird sometime soon.
Just. For. The. SKIN! ;D

Was it baked or fried?
Deep-fried turkey skin is where it's at.
So golden and crispy and tasty.
My cholesterol had to've gone up a lot yesterday.
