Where's the gas go, in the swingarm?  ;D

well...the patent drawing looks interesting...I am just not sure where or how this is going in terms of their heritage and the relative abandonment they seem to be taking...

Two local dealers also heard that it has gear-driven cams...that would be sick, but I wonder hiw expensive it'd be.

"heritage" is relative.... you know what they made prior to bikes with trellis frames? that's right, bikes without trellis frames!

bottom line, ducati has a company identity based on racing (and winning). if they have to move away from the trellis n' twin formula, they will (reference: desmosedici).

derb- while I understand exactly what you are saying...in the 1st link, they refer to their heritage identifying single sided swingarms, and yet, you have had many identifyable Ducati's with regular standard dual sided swingarms...it is the Trellis frame and L-twin motor that has been their constant of identification for the last 20 years...from the Luccinelli 750 F1's onward....
