How many times has it been now?
he is the orgiinal "Linsey Lohan" with getting arrested time and time again and not learning, before there was a Linsey Lohan
We should start a pool.
When will Willie get caught again?
I went to a political fundraiser a few years back where Willie, who I had never seen live, was slated to perform. I was excited about this. I would get to shake the hand of the leader of the free world and get to see Willie Nelson perform. A win:win.
Well, Willie got arrested for possession the day of the event. And when I shook the president's hand, it was basically a dead fish of a handshake. And if you ever go to an expensive political fundrasier, set your expectations of the food to cheese cubes and frozen egg rolls.
And, worst of all the replacement they found for Willie? Billy Ray Cyrus. And this is why I endorse the legalization of marijuana.

in High school (mid80's in CO) i had a good friend whose mom was one of his maids, Willie kept stocked up on killer stinky buds by the trashbag, and she would occaisionally bring home a "pinch" or two (basically stuffed as much as she could fit into a gallon ziploc each month) and shared with us... we loved our monthly "Willie Weed" fixes! 'sorry bout your troubles. Thanks Willie! [beer]

That is probably the best country tune I've never heard. [thumbsup]
One of the very few I can stand to listen to. [thumbsup]
I was raised on 70's country music. With a couple of exceptions it is pretty much the only country music I like. I love Willie. I would hope that at his age he wouldn't still be smoking, but if it makes him happy I think there should be an exception to the law.
I always loved this one. When I was a kid at Boy Scout camp they would have us sing silly songs before dinner. This was one of them.

At his age??....??....??
Dood...
The man is 77 years old.
He still works...
and has as much money as god.
He tries to mind his own business.
Who the make the beast with two backs are you, or anyone else, to judge his lifestyle?
I'm not trying to pick on you personally...but seriously, where does all this high horse shit come from?
Everyone should look in the mirror once in a while.
Now I'm off to the ban yourself thread...
derb...can you find it for me? [evil]

Thanks.
DP, it is easy to misunderstand what is said when in text. I didn't mean it in any sort of condescending way. I meant I love Willie and that I don't want him to be smoking pot at his age because I want him to be healthy. When I said "if it makes him happy I think there should be an exception to the law". I meant pretty much what you just stated.

Does this mean I can un-ban myself?
:-*
Seriously...
Willie...and myself are from a different generation.
His prostate is probably more of a concern than his lungs, and I don't think pot will hurt that. ;D
