Title: Baby Monster!? Post by: Latinbalar on November 30, 2010, 05:29:12 PM So whats the deal with calling the 620's "baby monsters" As a 620 monster I am deeply offended. My bike can get into as much trouble as the larger boys. And last time i checked all monsters are the same size (frame, wheels and tank).
Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: justinrhenry on November 30, 2010, 05:34:13 PM you're a 620 monster or is the bike speaking through you?
i have a 620 monster and love it, but it has baby hamsters turning the wheel. Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: Fergus on November 30, 2010, 05:47:57 PM The size of your monster motor is in inverse proportion to the size of your, um, level of confidence ;).
Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: the_Journeyman on November 30, 2010, 05:48:24 PM I've got the slightly bigger brother, the M750. It's all fun an games until you get out of the tight stuff and a liter bike passes you like you missed 5th and hit reverse ~
The size of your monster motor is in inverse proportion to the size of your, um, level of confidence ;). That would make me slightly more confidant than average. 400, 900, 620, 695, 696, 750, 796, 800, 900, 1000, 1100 -------------------------^---------------------------- I'm just right over here [thumbsup] Small bikes are a blast though, I've got a baby Hawk (Honda Hawk 650) and I ain't skeered when I'm riding it. I drag my knee, center stand, exhaust, pegs, kickstand like there's not tomorrow [evil] JM Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: lethe on November 30, 2010, 05:54:24 PM I run at or the near the front of any group I ride with. [evil]
You just need to beat the little thing like you hate it.....wait that doesn't sound right :P Title: Re: Baby Monster!? [evil] You just need to beat the little thing like you hate it.....wait that doesn't sound right :P This is exactly how I ride the Hawk 650. The Hawk is my wife's bike and she goes and pets on it like it was a dog I just beat good when I get back from a ride [laugh] JM Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: Travman on November 30, 2010, 06:24:24 PM It's sort of like calling the youngest brother the baby brother. We still love him and he's 32, but he is still the baby brother.
Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: Statler on November 30, 2010, 06:29:53 PM As a 620 monster I am deeply offended. suck it up, buttercup. ;D (and when parked next to each other, our two bikes are quite different in size... might be just all height, but it's a big difference) Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Because you know.....they only tell you that so you don't feel bad. Title: Re: Baby Monster!? Post by: fastwin on November 30, 2010, 07:28:38 PM That's why I also have a Hayabusa. That way the whole size thing can never make me cry. :'( There... I feel better already. [thumbsup]

Post by: gregrnel on December 01, 2010, 08:33:50 AM I love my 620, it's a perfect city bike, keeps me out of trouble but still gobs of fun. I guess as I get older (nearly 40 now), the less I need/want/use an overabundance of power. In Europe and Japan, the 620 is a bigger bike!

Post by: sbrguy on December 01, 2010, 09:04:55 AM (http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd110/grumpylawyer/Ductrio005.jpg) that was a good one. now all you need is two identically kitted out riders sitting on each bike at the same time.
