Has anyone used PSR slave cylinders?
They are on sale foe 123 ar Dennis Kirk!
I need a new one.
The EVO are 180.
123 is a good price!

The Oberon 29mm is only $130 from either Motowheels or Bellissimoto.  

I'm certain the EVOs are very good because I have one and haven't had any trouble with it. I've never heard of PSR, but it seems everyone with a CNC machine are putting out slave cylinders and they all seem to be pretty good. Probably can't go wrong with any of them.

well, you say that, but its not exactly that easy.

if it ain't got more than one seal, its garbage. no need to put a single seal slave in there because you'll be replacing it shortly when it begins to leak.

two or three seals minimum on the piston.

They claim a 30% performance increase?

no slave can give an actual 30% change in effort. i have had on my bikes (or currently have): DP, STM, Evoluzione, and Yoyodyne.  net benefit was the same on all if the master cylinder was the same. That's the other end of that hydraulic circuit that can be changed for one reason or another.  I would not quantify the percent reduction in lever effort to ever be more than 25%, and I doubt more than 20%

if you really do have girly hands, you can remove two springs from the dry clutch and it should engage fine (not slip) on the air cooled ducatis. Alternatively, you can place a washer below each spring cap to reduce the spring preload. If you are really still having trouble, you can do both.

The hydro clutch is easy enough. I am used to cable!

I bought an Evo and received excellent customer service when my throw bearing shit the bricks.  It's well worth he extra $ IMO.

make the beast with two backs psr.  psr takes other co's designs and rips them off.  other examples are their levers that are a rip off of crg's, thir damper which is a rip off of gpr's, and their wheel stands that are a rip off of pit bull.  please don't support this kind of business.  Instead support the orginal makers of these products that continue to support the motorcycle community.  buy a yoyo, evo, or an stm [bacon]

PSR unrelated but a good story of an alternative

I just picked up an S2R1000 with an MPL slave
The slave was 4 years old and had developed a leak.
My LBM found the problem a bush that had worn ,
as he couldn't find a bush the same locally so replaced it with two O rings pushed together
 (which fixed the leak)


I contacted the local importer of MPL products from Germany " Ducationly"
 here in Australia enquiring about a re build kit.

Now how is this for great support,

 MPL said this was rare and offered to replace the whole unit with an exchange  [thumbsup]
if I paid postage  and as long as I didn't crack it open as they wanted to know what was wrong with their product.
 
This was on a unit four years old with 17,000 klm unfortunately I couldn't take up the kind offer as we had already opened it.

So this seems like a great company with a lot of confidence in there product .
Oh and they work well , it is almost as light on the pull as my wife's 695 wet clutch and also looks good.

I just ordered an Oberon 29mm for $130.  Not much more than the $123 you're excited about.

These work very well. They are easy to install and we have not had any failures in the last 5 years. We sold thousands of them.
I can't say the same thing about the other slave cylinders we have sold.

Hey Moto:   I just bought one of the slaves (deep gold).   Is it too late to get a discount??

Anyone know the size of a wet clutch S2R 800 slave?

I want a new one, but it needs to be the same size or smaller (must have at least the same push)(lightness is not an issue)
