Title: The rider portrait project continues... Post by: Michael Moore on December 12, 2010, 01:26:49 PM This phase is going to be a bunch of location shots.
If you're not familiar with the Rider Portraits project here's a link (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2039847&id=1299410154). Here are the first three shots. I know Wayne is looking for some more folks to participate, so you may want to catch him on Facebook, or email him at wayne {at} wayneserrano{dot}com. Me (http://hphotos-snc4.fbcdn.net/hs1028.snc4/78345_1515009877412_1299410154_31120133_8206871_o.jpg) Desmostro (http://hphotos-snc4.fbcdn.net/hs1077.snc4/133925_1515432727983_1299410154_31120850_7884967_o.jpg) SFArchie (http://hphotos-snc4.fbcdn.net/hs1077.snc4/133901_1515010077417_1299410154_31120134_796298_o.jpg) The best part of the whole thing was we were stopped up on Ridgecrest, and a bunch of bicyclists went by, saying, "hey, cool Ducatis" and as they went off in the distance they started making revving motor noises like a bunch of kids. Cracked us all up! Title: Re: The rider portrait project continues... Post by: desmoquattro on December 12, 2010, 01:58:23 PM Awesome pics...can't wait to do one.

It was wet, and the sun was just out. That plus Wayne's ginormous flash. Title: Re: The rider portrait project continues... I really thought you were headed somewhere else with that. Title: Re: The rider portrait project continues... Post by: mattyvas on December 19, 2010, 03:49:20 AM Bigiain told me about this thread and project after I showed him a similar themed project I am shooting myself here in Oz. If you want to see them hit my mattvas site below and see the personal portfolio.
It is a real pleasure for a photographer to photograph people and there passions. I love this theme of amazing bikes-roads-lighting. I'll be watching from now to see how it develops and if that Multi 1200 does indeed become beautiful. Matty... Title: Re: The rider portrait project continues... Post by: ScottRNelson on December 30, 2010, 12:39:07 PM Too bad I sold my 888 Superbike. I always wanted a portrait shot with that bike, but it never happened. The KTM just isn't as photogenic.
