~2.24lbs per hp?!
When you build a car and focus on performance you get an ugly car.
For example the Gumpert

I don't see how anyone can think the Venom is ugly...with or without 1200 hp. :o [thumbsup]

+1
It's the shape man... underneath the body it's a fine piece of work and it gets my Mechanical Engineer's jolly off.
EDIT: To clarify... I think it's a combination of the 1)Wheel-wells/Fenders looking like they were glued on as an afterthought and 2) cockpit looking like a bubble.
Supercar that looks good:

The grumpert isn't too bad, aside from the super-tiny side windows.
I think there are 2 types of fugly cars and only one of them is acceptable in my book:
Type 1: EV cars.
Type 2: Uber-fast exotic cars.
Any guesses on which is acceptable?? [cheeky]
Darn it..I thought I was going to see a video of some idiot lighting his farts after drinking Hennesey's.

Ugly only makes a fast car better as it pisses off those you are faster than on yet another level.

Not only is the statement correct, the image is probably roughly equivalent to what it would look like if I got behind the wheel.

Yeah.. its amazingly impractical. 1200 hp in a Lotus I think would be comparable to 500 hp in a DesmoRR.. Yes.. Would me amazingly cool to have.. but what tires in the world could actually connect that kind of power to the asphalt?? Throttle control you say?? Traction control?? You'd end up only utilizing half of the available power before it would be cut into by either a loss of traction, or the computer trying to stop a loss of traction. HELL YES I'D ROCK ONE! [drool]

I'm willing to bet the tires could handle all 1200hp while you're going 180mph.
