Saw the movie this past weekend. It was alright... but the Sport Classic in it was a beaut.
What kind of mirrors were on it?
Thanks!

The Sport 1000 comes with that style of mirror as stock. Here is my Sport 1000 SE:

I used to want one of those...
When I saw the preview I was thinking to myself that looks like a Ducati but then again I think everything is a Ducati until it passes me. Lol.

I certainly don't use it for any long distance riding. ;)

Not at all. Well, maybe some wrist pressure but like most Ducatis, the pleasure to pain ratio is extremely high. Recommended.

I guess some more than others. Some say the reach/positioned on the supersports (desmo16, 1198) are pretty uncomfortable, but beautiful for the track.
1198s are downright comfy compared to my SC. [evil]

As a former 1098S Tricolore owner, that says a LOT to me! [coffee]

My SC is FAR from stock though. Its ergos are much more aggressive then it was from the factory.

I like that they actually had some mods done to the bike!
But was the bike monoposto at the beginning and then biposto at the end?!?

Maybe it was exploring its options...

Removable cowl?

Removable cowl?
Yep, it's a biposto throughout (ignoring the 'jump' scene); The passenger seat was covered by a cowl.

It can be seen in this trailer (though the brief jump scene is actually a '70s XL350 Honda made to 'look' like a Sport Classic):

Nice! That tank looks amazing!
All that bike needs now is a chrome seat cowl and a black seat!

HERESY!!It would be a crime to cover/replace that seat.

sit postion is lower than ducati sbk for sure. Would not recommend to ride long tours.

You need to try MH900e. A more uncomfortable bike has probably never been made......but I love it anyway. [moto]

I'm pretty sure that tank is an aluminum tank by Evan Wilcox

I'd also like to know more about that tank. Its not a stock SC one and I'm guessing it's either bespoke or from another model adapted to fit.
Any more info?

Travman is correct; Is it an Evan Wilcox tank. More info on the bike can be found here:
