Is the racing ECU now programmable?

I'll leave the aviators to explain their version.... Your DP racing ECU is loaded with a fixed set of parameters.  If you want other parameters you could have the ECU reflashed to replace the existing firmware with new modified (but still fixed) mapping.  Or you could add a PCV and modify mapping using its programable interface.  "Trim" in the context of PCV usually refers to the on-the-fly fuelling adjustments made by the addition of Dynajet's Autotune option.  Autotune substitutes "wideband" 02 sensors in place of your stock lambdas and uses their inputs to dynamically adjust the air/fuel ratio, based on predetermined AFR targets.  These values are referred to as "trim" which you can choose to "accept" so as to modify the base target, or ignore to leave your base fuelling settings as they were.

You dont need it.

the Racing ECU gives the new static map made for the new air filter you have and the open exhausts.
I'm running it with the new air filter and the stock exhausts and have no issues. The Racing ECU with the new throttlebody cam I have is freaking awesome.

Ungeheuer is right, you can get the PC V but it's not needed unless you do more modifications. BUT even if you don't the PC V will allow some adjustments that can help with your drivability and customize your experience on the bike.

Honestly, I have a PC V, but not installing until I do more engine modifications- port and polish, lightweight flywheel, new airbox, ergal cam rollers, 1100 cams, custom 2 into 2 exhaust. which no way would I do those things without the PC V or getting a remap via Rexxer or the like.

SO, you can keep it simple or do what Ungeheuer did and I'm gonna do and go all out!

Please put trim in a context, could mean alot of things as above. ^^
But also just CO adjustment which is adjusted via a software at shop.
