Title: 1996 M900 for sale
Post by: Bigbore4 on December 29, 2010, 10:46:44 PM
Howdy all.

Going to be selling my Monster.
1996, M900 Black.  Very clean.  Somewhere around 15k miles, need to go look.  It is due for valves, we'll either do it before you take it, or if you are handy and want to learn we'll show you how.

Chop, Renthal Street Fighter bars, DD pipes, open air box and jetted, new Barnett clutch and less than 500 miles on new Pilot Powers.  That all stays.  Geared about 10% low at 14/41.  She's a demon off the line.

Other stuff is negotiable as I have the stock bits, except the reflectors and stickers!

CRG lane splits
LED turn signals
Pressure plate and spring retainers, need to go look to identify MFR
Billet open cover, SpeedyMoto I think

Guys, this thing is virtually a virgin.  Small spot on frame from battery acid, otherwise pretty clean.  OE paint on tank and seat cowl, black.  I have the original tool kit and operators manual.  NO TANK DENT. NO TANK LEAKS!

If anyone expresses interest I can go out and get some pics and identify for sure MFR of pressure plate and cover.  Bike is in heated storage, come hear it run.  Have not figured out my ask price yet, I'll work on that.

Lots of options here for someone wanting to get into a clean Monster.  Come get it out of my garage and I would be inclined to negotiate more.  Come up with a fair offer and and it can stay warm and snug in my man cave till spring.

Drop me a PM

You guys get first whack at it before it goes to Monsters For Sale'

Dave

I would really like this clean example to go to an enthusiast that would take care of it.
