Title: Ducati Caffe Racer Post by: blackbyrd on January 01, 2011, 10:20:06 AM Hey Gang,
I own a 1999 Ducati Monster 750 Dark. I have seen several Monsters converted into Cafe Racer style bikes. I am looking for parts like handlebars, headlamps, etc. and don't know of any companies that do that kind of thing. How do I post pics of my bike? Any info on dong this would be great! Thanks! I don't know any sources specifically, but here is a cafed monster that just about everyone likes: http://www.flightcycles.com/FlightCycles-HotrodM750.tpl (http://www.flightcycles.com/FlightCycles-HotrodM750.tpl) his handle on the dmf is duckstew. mitt Title: Re: Ducati Caffe Racer Post by: stopintime on January 01, 2011, 12:09:01 PM Hi and welcome [thumbsup]

I've got an idea for you; instead of wasting all the time and money re-doing your bike into a cafe, just buy mine.

[thumbsup] To show off the (single) brake set up and the (left side exit) exhaust? Title: Re: Ducati Caffe Racer Post by: blackbyrd on January 02, 2011, 02:36:29 PM Thanks for the links, guys! I think I just need to find parts more than anything. Is there any place to find the DUCATI lettering that isn't just stickers or painted on? Are the metal letters for the gas tank anywhere? I bought some die-cast stickers of the hollowed DUCATI but would prefer something more tangible.
Thanks a bunch!!!! BB Title: Re: Ducati Caffe Racer Post by: 671M900 on January 02, 2011, 02:50:24 PM Thanks for the links, guys! I think I just need to find parts more than anything. I don't know if it's stock, but I have the emblem on both sides of my tank in chromed plastic, like the one on cars. With the exception of the stock master cylinders, I have all the parts to take it back to stock, so any potential buying would get those as well. But, wave $10K at me and we might have to talk. Title: Re: Ducati Caffe Racer Post by: booger on January 16, 2011, 12:42:13 PM 999 front end & are those carbon feebray BST wheels? Bike's shithot! How's that fuel tank?

Yep, front BST to fit a 999 and rear to fit the SC. It's also got SpeedyMoto triples, Brembo RCS masters and an Ohlins TMSD. This isn't the original tank. The original was replaced a while back, when the bike was still in Honolulu. Title: Re: Ducati Caffe Racer Post by: iRam on January 16, 2011, 04:11:41 PM It wouldn't be cheap, that's for sure.
