Title: Putting PC server on street - free
Post by: ducatiz on January 03, 2011, 08:07:39 AM
I have a Dell PowerEdge 2400
Dual P3 - 866, 1gig ram, dual fast/wide hot swap (Mylex) array.  Has 4x9.1 gig drives, dual power supply, cdrom, floppy, etc.

Taking up space. Not using it.  Will run XP or Server 2003, has Server 2000 installed.  I used it as a mail server for a long time.

PM me if you want the address.  FCFS.

dude...why not use this is a frustration relief device....the drives can make for AWESOME targets to shoot at repeatedly due to density and mass and the rest of the assembly would be awesome to take a sledgehammer to for to take out your other anger....

BTW...I know not of these types activities from any kind of 1st hand experience

and if you believe that, I have a Brooklyn Bridge located on a tiny remote island to sell you....LOL

Purple Heart and Amvets will not pick up electronics.  Already went thru that with an old stereo I had.  Neither will Lupus or VVA.  We donate to all of those all the time.

i never understood the "get frustrated by technology" mindset.  a computer is not much more than a very sophisticated tool.  a hammer for the modern age.

I used to hit my thumb every once in awhile......I'd take that over my modern technology (bluetooth and texting) f-ups any day of the week!
