I will head straight on through Canon City then, with only a gas stop. You will probably catch up with me on Monarch Pass since I am not planning to highball it. Gotta keep some points on my license. It has been an expensive year. :( Either way, I'll see ya in Ouray on the patio. Sorry to hear Shannon isn't coming. I was looking forward to hanging out with her.
Title: Re: DiTR '11 Post by: KRJ on August 11, 2011, 06:10:31 PM Cool, I just got home from work and too many 14hr days to leave that early. I am also looking at a casual, relaxed weekend, see You there... [thumbsup] Title: Re: DiTR '11 Post by: bonfy on August 11, 2011, 09:07:46 PM Gotcha! I've been working twelves myself, but I am on the night shift so everything will hinge on if I can fall asleep tonight early enough to get up and over there before my system catches on. I will catch a nap and then hit the patio. You will likely catch me on the way over, but if you see someone sleeping on a picnic bench with a Duc nearby, it will be me.

2011 was a great year for Ducati in the Rockies (DitR). Attendance was up and we saw several new faces among our old friends. We had approximately 70 people from seven states. The food at the Saturday BBQ was a huge hit, as were the Italian Margaritas served at the Best Western’s Tiki Bar. Both of these will be back next year along with some new ideas we are already working on. Next year’s Ducati In The Rockies will be August 10th - 13th. We’re already planning to make next year’s event even better. DitR has a new website with more photos, more detailed ride maps and the latest event information. Be sure to check out the new 10 minute ride video on YouTube showing a quick run to the top of Red Mountain Pass (Million Dollar Highway). We also have a new FaceBook page that will better serve our event. Please contact us and let us know if you have any questions or comments.
