Someone w/ more smarts than me please tell me why an Air Conditioner Condenser couldn't be hooked up to a Ducati and w/ a hose ,take the cold air to the inside of your Jacket.
How exactly would this work. In a car the cold air blows out and disperses. If you piped cold air into your jacket, it would get really cold in one spot unless you're wearing a jacket 2 sizes too big, in which case you'd look like the Michelinman.
When It's hot I put on the Leather G string and Assless Chaps............And nothing else.
Ahhhh, brisk! [moto]
joe rocket has summer jacket that you soak in water, and as it evaps it cools you down.
It would be like trying to run the A/C in a convertible with the top down, or outdoors on a balcony. Just a waste of energy.
Natures air condiitioning; you just use elevation .... ride into the mountains silly! or find a glacier to drive by .... ;D
the native indians had it right; .... the liloette band has spring summer fall and winter places where they live; summer is at hign elevation; in the mountain by a lake, good fishing, lots of berries .... that joe rocket has something so simple that it might be good!
Plus, you would need an additional belt to drive the condenser along with trying to find a place to put it...

How about setting it up like a Goldwing and blast the cold air out directly towards you from vents on the bike. Then you could wear mesh clothing and get the cold air on your skin. Better yet, just buy a Goldwing.
Do Goldwings have A/C ?
Do a search on airflow motorcycle jackets, if what you suggest were possible the your search will deliver zip [bang]
Great idea though! ;D

Well, there are many more parts to an AC system than just a condenser. Compressor (need a way to drive it), evaporator (what the air blows across to get cooled down), TXV/Orafice tube (metering device to keep the system from freezing solid), condenser (changes charge from hot gaseous to cold liquid state), hoses, refrigerant etc etc. You get the idea.... Fuhgettaboudit!!
Just use a vented jacket/pants. Most of the jackets have liners for colder weather that can be removed.
or you could retrofit a jacket with a bunch of thermoelectric coolers...http://www.sciencestore.co.uk/StorePeltier.asp
12volt...
Reviews of cooling vests (http://www.webbikeworld.com/cooling-vests/)
My bike has an a/c switch. When in gear I turn the right handlebar grip towards me. The more I turn the cooler I get. ;)
You shouldn't be riding anytime soon, anyways, so stop thinking about it.
Go heal up now.

FWIW, I thought the same until I bought a convertible. Running the AC works great, with the windows up. When its 120 ? out, you take anything you can get.
I also use one of these Cool Danna's. Awesome product and makes all the diff between feeling hot and feeling like you're goona die out there...
