A heavy rain late last week washed all the salt off the roads in Central Mo.....we had mid 40's on Wed. and I got to take off work a couple hours late afternoon and ride....

Tried out my new Scorpian Helment I got for Christmas....quiet and warm with the chin guard in place.

The M1100 preformed nicely....a great winter blues cure.

Soon the snow will come again, the salt will be back on the roads....and it's already too cold to ride again...but Spring will be here soon.....and if we get another day without snow and the rain has washed the streets clean....I'll be out there!

I want to take the opportunity to say that the DMF has helped my entry into the world of Ducati since the M1100 is my first.  LOTS of great people on the forum that answered my newbie (to Ducati anyway) questions.

I also want to take the same opportunity to say that MonsterParts; and Jeff especially, go above and beyond to make sure things are right.  I highly recommend giving them your business.

Now they put together this contest, Thanks guys!!!

Cure for wintertime blues/grumpiness...?

It's called Ventura County, California.

Average year-round temp is in the mid-70's,  sunny 350ish days a year,  and some of the best roads in the country IMHO...

Come on out!  [moto]

God created southern California. He filled it with sunshine and warm weather. He filled it with gorgeous countryside. He filled it with gorgeous beaches.

Then he felt bad for the rest of the world, so he filled it up with Southern Californians to make up the difference  ;D

That's why I live in Ventura County...

Technically it's the beginning of Central California.  Nobody in SoCal rides anywhere. Well except maybe to Starbucks or the Rock Store to look at theirmoyorcycles and talk about riding.  [roll]

All that and none of ya'll ever ride anywhere-what gives?

You know I ride...
I got rid of my last bike @ 50,000 miles and already put close to 3,000 in less than two months on the new one.   [moto]

Talk to all the folks who were commited to DIMBY, but at the last minute got a hangnail or had to groom their girlfriend's dog or some other  lame-ass excuse.  :P
