What's new out there in terms of headlights. There's gotta be some new and interesting ones floating around. I'm thinking about going with a single but not sure which will fit or look the best so maybe you can assist. Pics if you have them.
Thanx!

It's a Headwinds aluminum bullet headlight, machined to fit a motogadget tach.
Not exactly an off the shelf / bolt-in part ;D
It isn't a 'different' headlight per se, but since you already have duals you could always make yourself a windscreen to differentiate it a bit. If you need sheet aluminum just let me know and I can set you up.

boobies
Yup.
Oh, and the headlights, too.
Other suggestions: someone on here (Celli, maybe?) has a KTM Super Duke headlight on their bike. Looks similar to the LSL.
Any sort of dirt-bike headlight can be made to work with a little effort. I've got an Acerbis Cyclops hanging around somewhere that I intended to put on my Monster but never got around to it.
The headlight from a Harley V-Rod looks pretty good on a Monster. Is that what you've got on yours Raux?
Also, the new-gen Monster headlights look pretty good on the old-gen bikes. Again, someone here on the forum has done it, I just don't remember who.
I was looking at putting an ER6 headlight or 06 GSXR headlight on my monster, looks pretty trick, and the GSXR one is streetfighterish...

Any chance you took pics of the project? Thats my cuppa tea.
I like they way this is mounted:

i used to have a low profile set of those for turn signal mounts (put 'em below lower triple)
Not new but the Acerbis Cyclops looks ok. I lowered the gauges, they tuck in nicely behind the fly-screen and raised the bars. BUT... they suck. You cant see shit. I'm going to try to fit some HID's in there. If that doesn't work it's on to something else.

DM, I feel a serious, overcoming need to hump the first thing in sight every time I look at your setup. I don't think my computer's chair will ever be the same. ;)

I have a few pics, what parts do you want to know about?
I'd like to see what you modified to fit the projector and which projector you used :) Thanks!

add a source for the clear lens to that [thumbsup]
The projector was an item I found off ebay.
I removed the guts from the bucket, drilled/filed a hole the the back of it and mounted up the projector.
The lens I made out of lexan myself, and then attached it to the headlight right with some silicone. I did make a few extra lenses. To get the shape I put the flat lens in the headlight trim ring, supported it, and into the oven it went. I waited until it sagged, and then removed it/let it cool.
Sounds simple enough.
Do hardware stores carry sheets of lexan? Never had a reason to look.
They might, but really not what you want. Remember it's a plastic, so you've got to be extra careful to keep it from scratching.
I think I used some "marguard", which is used for lexan window replacements in race cars (among other things).
Other tips would be to have some tearoffs made, so you can be able to clean the lens if you are out. If I could find a curved glass lens that was clear I'd buy it...
Celli's "old" set up I thought was pretty cool but I guess only he knows what it is was like. It might have been terrible for lighting but was aesthetically awesome. I was on a search to find the right light for me but eventually gave up and will have to build my own.
