Title: North Bay Moto shop = Mojotown
Post by: Jaman on January 11, 2011, 04:10:56 PM
www.mojotown.com (//http://)

Mike, and ex AFM guy, opened up a shop a few years ago in San Rafael, over kind of by Home Depot.

small shop, at first glance, appears to be mostly dirtbike stuff, but expanding, they do parts & service for both street & dirt, as well, Mike does some pretty awesome web design work (did Mladin's website, for example)

brought my bike by to get some new rubber put on, as I couldn't find my socket for the rear wheel (local hurricane/tornado/IED seems to have hit the inside of my tool/storage shed) - was wincing with the extra expense, but went to pick her up yesterday, and not only did baby get some new shoes, but I walked in, and jaw dropped, as they given her some much needed TLC... "It was making me sad to look at her all dirty & neglected"

spoke with both Mike & Brandon at length (both great, knowledgable, personable guys) and they both struck me as being very detail oriented when it comes to working on bikes, as well, their pricing on parts, as well as service, is very competitive (ie, lower) than other dealerships in the area.

Anyway, I wanted to A. give them props  [thumbsup] and, B. let others know of their existence, as they are a little under the radar...

I've heard of Mojotown, but never knew where they were...do they advertise anywhere?

Tell 'em to learn how to work on Ducatis and they might have a few converts from the N. end over there.   [cheeky]

Michael raced Ducs for a few years.  He's very "a-type" -- that should mean trustworthy as a shop.
