Summer hours have kicked in at my office, and this Friday is my first day off.  Anyone want to go on a ride?  Yes, it is Friday the 13th, but this weather is irresistible!

I'd like to head down to Alice's since I haven't been down there in a long while.  Plus, it should be really nice on the coast (jinx!).

**EDIT**  Due to wildfires in Bonny Doon, I'll be heading north instead.  I'm still planning on being at Zeitgeist at 9am if anyone wants to show up.

I can be in the city by 9am if anyone wants to meet me at Zeitgeist.  Then I'll be at Alice's 30 to 40 minutes after that.

My tires are getting old, and apparently the po po has a big boner for tickets lately (that's a fact, not a flame, except for the "big" part, which could very well be a blatant lie [leo]), so this won't be an especially aggressive ride.  Just some good, sweaty leather fun. [moto]

Rats! Day off - lucky you. Love to but work is calling.  :P
I could do a mad dash at lunch sometime soon.

The lunch ride is fun, too.  I need to get a handle on when I can take a longer lunch to make it work.

Which route to Alice's are you thinking?

Probably 92 to Skyline.

That was awesome.  Nothing like enjoying lunch in Davenport on a clear day and having the roads and cafe nearly to yourself...

It was winter, wasn't it?  That's probably why the roads were empty!  I remember that inland was packed with fog and the peninsula roads close to the coast were warm and sunny!

Who wants to lend me their bike dammit!!!!

No worries. Ever since the Aussie crash of the Supersport last year my policy is to always be around when folks are riding my bikes  ;D I might be riding Sunday, so stay tuned.

Fires seem to be getting worse around Bonny Doon.  I might head north instead, but i can't find any news on Mt. Tam closures...?

I looked at a map and these road closers would not affect the route we usually take around this area.
That being said, I am up for riding where ever you'd like.

I rode on Tuesday down 1 from Daly City to 92 to 35 to 84 to Stage Rd to Pescadero Creek Rd/Pescadero Rd back to 84 then head home from there. On the way back, heading west on 92 there was a small fire on the left hand side (South) going up the hills. Have fun guys ... I saw them talking about the fires in the News here in Salt Lake.  BTW, I woke up to snow on my car this morning here. 

I think it'd just be best to stay away from that area.  There'll be lots of folks running around taking care of more important things.  Luckily, we have choices for good rides here.

If you are going to do the Tam loop I can meet you at Tambucks around 9:30. It's easier for me than going to that side of the city.
If you are going to do a different loop/route let me know where the best place is to meet.

I'll check here before I leave.
