Ok here goes:
I need a one piece suit because I am tired of explaining to people why I own leather pants.

Why I want to win a set of leathers from DMF.
Due to my 10 year curse
My wreck left me with damaged leathers
From top to bottom
My leathers look like I don't know what I'm doing
On a two-wheeled death trap
Not that I'm saying I do
Still I'm not a noob
Trying to be Rossi or
Even Stoner
Riding a back road like a GP star
Praying that I'll see the next blind corner
As the damn Harley meanders across the lanes
Rounding the corner like it's made of ice
Totally ruining my
Sweet lines
25 word limit.
My suit is old, rashed and illegal in my state (many Joeys/Wombats died in the making). I need a new Joey friendly cow-hide!
If I have a set of proper leathers, the next deer incident won't hurt as bad.
And I'll be more likely to live to fight another day. :)
does that disqualify me or can i edit or would that disqualify me... [bang]

My thinking was no editing for content... It'll be up to the entire judging group, but I'd give it a pass to edit for number of words this time.
I feel like I'm getting better at riding, the only thing I'm missing is that feeling you get when you first touch a knee!
;D
I don't need a suit for myself so I'm asking for my wife. She has a suit but it makes her ass look big and if I say another word about it I'll be sleeping with the dogs. A new suit could save our marriage.

Man you guys sound jaded about your parents!! [cheeky]
Because at this rate, a one-piece is probably going to be mandatory for military riders, and they'd probably be pretty steamed if I blew this year's uniform allowance on beer a suit. [moto]
Oh, and +1 on the "Thank You" to Jeff and MonsterParts.com [beer]
I sold my suit to RichD :'( There was simply too much room in the nether regions; blame can be assigned to a certain Mrs. You see, I got married and have since lost my balls (could be the cold :-\). No matter how hard I try they will never be the same so I need a "better" fitting suit....the only cure is another divorce which I cannot afford.
It will be my first year racing! I only have borrowed leathers, so I want to start my racing year in style!
Just look at those ancient, ugly, borrowed leathers:

I desire one for purely selfish reasons. Recently stopped talking to a girl who's a die hard vegetarian and would only ride with me when I wore the textile gear. I see her all the time in town during social gatherings. I would love to ride up in one piece just to piss her off.

While I've been away from the house for the past 6 months, my family relocated. My wife put my leather jacket in the outdoor (read: vented to outside elements in Hawaii) storage locker. Came home, and it turns out jacket was ruined by moisture combining with my excreted manliness to form mold in several places on the garment. :(

Hello,
I would love to win the suit and think i deserve it because of my work on and off the track with up and comming racers at several tracks in Minnesota and Iowa. I work with not only new racers but with riders seeking to advance their skills through a riding school. I have a well sorted Ducati Monster 620 that i built into a competitive race bike and am active on this forum with answers to riding questions and technical questions. In 2011 I am the CRA #7 expert plate and plan on racing towards at least a top 5 plate for 2012. I was 2nd in the MN supermoto series in 2011 as well. All this racing costs money and a suit does as well. eliminating the cost of a new suit for this season puts that many more races into my budget. Furthermore, I would love to support monsterparts with a well done logo on the leathers. This is great exposure for the Co. since i spend 8-10 days a month at tracks around the midwest either racing, coaching, or instructing, and am well regarded in the racing community. Please see the below link to my website for pictures and my past columns regarding my racing.
Thank you for you consideration,
-Geoff [bacon]

Please consider awarding me this great suit. I'd really like to be a ducatisti instead of a ducatician.
I don't need a suit so count me out but I feel I need to add my 2 cents (we all have two cents to add, like arm pits we all have two cents to add. And the beer and scotch told me to write this. The beer and scotch told me rules are for pregnant doges.) But I do need a pair of gloves; I decided to feel the pavement with one pair in the bowl at Loudon and the replacement I bought are mid evil torture devices, bla bla bla, you can fill in the rest of the pissing and moaning.
I'm going to have to push for monsterlover, he has been very generous to many of us. I received a part from him without even asking for it. Included in the package were treats that the whole family enjoyed [thumbsup]. The man has been good to so many and hasn't asked for a thing. Give him the suit.
My second choice would be Bettyrage. Who the make the beast with two backs would want to race in a borrowed set of leathers?! How many people have worn that suit before her? How much ball sweat is she having to sit in? How many days has someone before her been on a track during 90+ degree weather and sweated in as if the rider were a high-school wrestler looking to make weight by working out wearing a plastic suit for six hours? She might as well be swimming in a pool of sweat when racing. [puke]
Charlie, you shouldn't be allowed to DIMBY anymore (I don't care how good your long island stories are.) You don't need a suit. You need underwear, preferably long johns, you know the one piece red kind with the poop shoot.) ;)

Because her mom needs a suit to keep her safe on the track and I spent all my money running the last raffle.
Im 25, I just quit being a chef to work on motorcycles. I got a low level dealer job, I got engaged. Need track gear, please.
I teach high school and commute via Monster. Kids ask me about stunting/racing. I always promote safety/proper gear and discourage stupidity. A suit would help.
25 words is hard. Thanks Jeff and DMF for running this contest.

Hello Everyone,
Been hanging out on TOB for almost two years.Just now found where everyone went.A suit would be a great welcoming gift.=25
I know I know 100 posts, blah blah drink a few beers [beer] and add a few zeros....and ya got 100...
Great to finally be here...GIVE THE SUIT TO THE GIRL!!!
Because this protection is not cutting it. Plus, due to military requirements of a "brightly colored upper garment", my black suit = useless.

My potential entry would be short and sweet:
I've had to have rubber picked out of my ass with a pair of tweezers due to riding pants sliding off in a crash...TWICE...but I couldn't submit the pictures. FAIL.
I would like to take a track school so I can get better at my turns in the twisties. I can't afford it otherwise.
Thanks
Because the Stig should ride a Ducati ... at least with this suit I could look the part ... plus I can then lecture Big about ATGATT.

My family lived on Bobbitt Drive when I got my drivers license and I got damn sick and tired of people asking me (as I showed them my license when writing a check) if I had ever read the Trilogy books by JRR Tolkien!! Jeez!!!! As soon as I moved to Austin, TX to go to UT I immediately changed the address on my license to my Austin address. Bilbo/hobbit BS no more!! And no, I don't have big feet! ;D

you would wear this to work?
Because I live in South Carolina and every day I get on the monster is like a day at a track. Except it is more like going to a NASCAR track and racing your motorcycle against the drunk fans. Also, as a secondary use, I have been married for a bit over 12 years and the suit would help my skin from peeling off when my wife gives me that look after getting back from a ride I didnt take her on.

I remember that's how we found out MotoGP leathers liked to blow apart at the knees. . .
I just got a running start and hit my cube wall full tilt. No visible damage to the knees but I think the person on the other side of the wall shit themselves.

I read a number of end user reviews that reported it being pretty comfortable, it sounds like a lot of the gripes in the WBW review were fit related. I was looking for a summer helmet with good airflow. If it sucks, lesson learned ;)

Started storyboarding it :D Helmet came in and the weather is fiiiiiinally consistently nice. Put in a call with one of my old girlfriends that used to work at the Science Center. She isn't there any more but it would be great to shoot some stuff there and the roof has a great view of the city.
