Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYpOFimB7ZA#normal)
Kick ass skills. Love the U turn at 2:00.
Enjoy [evil]
Now I can add something else to my list of things I can never do.
I could do the drifting, if I only had a longer swingarm
[laugh]
... maybe the RC car [cheeky]
Let me understand something. It's an RX-8, right? Like in Mazda?
Look at 1:10 in. Doesn't that say 'Corvette' on the valve cover? Like in American V8 pushrod V8? [clap]

It's a corvette powered Rx-7. Pretty bad ass, they're doing all kinds of crazy stiff in the drifting community
And thansk for the post. Thats a pretty awesome video
...Wow...
got to give it to those guys that is some crazy bike handling skills.
wow, I mean draggin fingers during a drift :o
Who is that guy? And why is he doing that instead of GP. He has the most control of a bike I've ever seen on video.

Ducati Factory stunt rider - among many other things.
Google Nick Brocha and you'll see he's too busy to do GP 8)
Unless you're a factory GP rider, maybe the stunt money is better?
The fingerdragging :o that's a statement!
Simply amazing!
I saw an LS1-powered RX7 parked at a local mall once, which around here, was not something I expected to see.
Just saw this on my local board. The guy doing the hairicopter at the finish line cracked me up :)
They make a kit to drop a V8 into a Miata also. I actually considered it (for a very short time) but I really like the way the Miata handles. I'd MUCH rather have the handling. I'm not into drifting or red light to red light racing.
Some cool shots. Anyone want to lend me a bike so I can learn the look back coming onto the strait.
So that's what you use a stretched out swinger for... Who knew? ;)
That's some serious skills right there.

Yup, the Ford 5.0 conversions are pretty quick, but real bears to handle. The torque tends to use up rear ends as well. I had a 1990 with a stock drivetrain (all my mods were to the suspension and brakes), but the most fun modified Miata I ever drove was a turbo-charged 1.8 M1 with about 200 hp and a LSD...nearly perfect balance of power and handling.
HO-LEY COW!!!! [moto] [thumbsup] [evil]

What!? I did that a couple times just a few months ago checking for Jon at INDE.... (Right! Who am I kidding!)
If it's one thing I want to learn before I die it's rolling burnouts.
Too much fun!!
the kit for the LS7 Engine in the rx7 chasis puts the motor lower and closer to the fire wall to keep the balance as close to 50/50 as possible. Also the all aluminum block and heads are only 60 lbs heavier then the stock rotary engine that comes in the car. So it still handles very well and now the car has some serious torque and some reliability
this thread about the video on the wera forum is kinda funny:

it's the usual racers bagging on stunnahs fare until nick shows up on page 14/post 264 (http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?p=3407323#post3407323) to "defend" himself AND posts up a few practice videos w/ some really sick tricks.
