Title: Superbike front fender straps
Post by: csorin on January 15, 2011, 11:33:05 PM
Can I reuse my stock Monster front fender straps with a Superbike fender?  In this case, the replacement fender is an 848/1098 model.

if you're talking about the plastic pieces that go around the fork and are the mounts for the fender... the SBK forks have them built on. no straps needed.

No. Your front wheel will seize up, flipping you over the bars, giving you a perfect view for when your bike bursts into flames because you've got a superbike fender on a slow-ass Monster.

 ;)

Really, as long as the holes line up, you should be good. Post pics when you're done.
