Based on my discussions with other Monster riders at the Rock Store, 90% of them dont even know this board exists so the likelihood of a random rider responding here is pretty slim. Title: Re: Hello? You get to ride through some gorgeous country, hang with like-minded moto heads, drink like a fish. As of right now, there are more females attending than males. A lot of them are single. I haven't heard anything about Joe since he got married. Last time I saw Matt was on that ride when we ended up running into the birthday ride group when his brother in law was in town. I get about 1 sunday ride in a month and 1 friday night ride once a month. I commute on my bike almost every day. Between the wife and kids' activities, it's hard to justify going riding instead of my kid's soccer game or fencing lessons. I'll be out riding on Good Friday I believe, as is my tradition. I'm considering heading to County Line BBQ or up to Holland Burger Cafe in victorville and on through Rt 66. We got stopped by the [leo] right by the Villanova school before getting to the 150/33 split. They had the whole road closed. Apparently, there was a large fatality motorcycle/vehicle accident. :P Two onlookers told us that at least two riders were [thumbsdown] and possibly more. I asked what kind of bikes they were, cruisers/choppers/sportbikes and the said they couldn't tell. They were way too messed up. [puke] So we took a few different side roads, backtracked, and finally made it back to the 150 east of the 33. If anybody has info, or hears of anything, please post it up? [bacon] Title: Re: Hello? TONS of "Wild Hogs" types rolling in mobs thru the 150 and 33 ( there were also a few groups of serious touring clubs... includning a group from Santa Cruz on a 3 day bender [thumbsup] (guy we spoke to was on A Beemer S1k with bags).
I also noticed a gross lack of safety gear, a lack of skill on the part of more that 1 rider and an abundance of tough-guy scowls.... Hoping it wasn't as bad as the [leo] first stated...
