Post by: booger on January 22, 2011, 11:59:57 AM It will not hold up, unfortunately. Especially with rearsets, your boots will wear through it in no time. It's better to permanently powdercoat those pieces. You should probably hard anodize or vinyl wrap the fork legs in lieu of powdercoat. First choice would be hard ano but that requires complete disassembly and then there's the expense of getting quality ano work done. Vinyl wrap can be accomplished in situ without even removing the forks, and I would imagine holds up acceptably. It's cheap as well.
