it essentially looks like they placed a rear swingarm on the front complete with the shock absorber...

it has to be a work in progress as there is no drivetrain, no front breaks... im suprised the camera didnt break just by looking at it...

maybe they were going to make it a 2 wheel driven vehicle with some seperate gear and drive train to go down to the front wheel with that sprocket and carrier still on the front?!?!?!

I dont know what you guys are on about, that double swingarm bike is rad. pretty sure its not meant to be a rideable bike in anyway (how does it turn?) but just as a realized sketch its pretty awesome.

im sure its got a ways to go before its done, but damn! using a second swingarm as a base for a custom single sided hub steering front end deserves respect!

as a joke to do to a buddy's bike over the winter while he's in Europe, perhaps.

That 'thing' with the front swingarm:  I've cut the hell out of many Duc's but that... well, I'm just thinking it's a first year engineering student who took a welding class and is so full of confidence that...  somebody needs to tell that boy to put down the torches.  (crack-pipe & welder)...

You gotta give him partial credit for making a new swingarm instead of just modifying a stocker ( ans a reasonable facsimile of the real one at that)

well the guy was going for the whole bimota thing with the dual swing arms but it obviously didn't come out as nice as the bimota version.

Really?  I thought he was going more for this, but wound up using the wrong ends:
