Ordered this last week as the price had come down some. Arrived today. Nice solid piece...good finish...purchased the bracket kit separately. Will fit it up this weekend.
In the "DYI" mentality, does you know if the bracket hardware is available at a hardware store?
$ 25 dollhairs seems a bit exspensive. for 4 bolts/nuts and brackets.
For others, am refering to the braket kit that the seller recommends buying with the fairing

I've also had some stuff from italmoto. I have their CNC quick release gas cap, which is really nice, although, of course, the black anodizing has faded, but into a cool deep bronze. I bookmarked them and will be getting a belly pan soon.
I thought the same thing, but I figured that the pan itself was cheap enough, so I sprung for the brackets. They didnt charge me separate shipping.
I was surprised though when I looked at the mounting hardware and it's actually decent. Stainless steel plates with a rivet nut swaged on one end, stainless screws, and nylon washers. It would be easy enough to make your own, but I dont think it's worth the effort (having just made several brackets and mounts for my bike).
I bought it and have been very pleased with its durability. I just got it back from my paint guy (see pic). Now if anyone knows how to bolt on and how large the drill holes should be I would be greatly appreciative.

I hope you test fitted the bellypan before you got it painted. I bought their rear cowl last year and had to take a dremel to it in order to make it fit. A bit of a pain to modify but worth the lower price. There is usually a fair amount of modifications you need to do with these cheap fiberglass pieces. Still worth it though.
Oh, and re: the hardware kit. it seems like only a few pieces, but $25 is a small price to pay for the time and effort saved to try to make your own brackets. It's a real PITA to try and fab your own and get it just right.
Really should have drilled the holes before painting, and as stated above, fitted everything up while you were at it. I can already tell that there will have to be some slight alterations to make it clear cables and hoses.
I'd forgotten that I had bought my tail cowl from them last year. USed mounting kit from Monsterparts. I didnt think it fit as well as a stock piece, but it looks enough the part for the price. Very well molded as well.
Looking good. Let's see some pic of the pan painted and installed.

Sure! I am considering using nylon screws and rubber grommets at the pan mounting points. The fitting and mounting will take place this weekend.
What kind of paint did you use? Can you describe the process you took?
