Hahaha. I don't really remember not having the internet and I'm turning 27 this year. I do remember playing on an old Atari and using DOS on an IBM Jr.
I remember the last paper i wrote in grad school - in late 1986 - was also the first I'd ever written on a computer*, an Apple IIe, if I remember correctly. I have a very distinct memory of what a pain in the ass it was, and thinking "Thank God I'll never have to use one of THESE again!" [cheeky]
*Up to that point, of course, it was a series of manual and then electric typewriters. I thought eraseable typing paper was the pinnacle of word processing technology.
I'm old... [thumbsup]
You gave ben franklin the key he used to invent electricity, huh?
Internet? I thought Al Gore invented the world wide web? WTF? I'm still pregnant doging about all those kids on my lawn! What the hell did El Matador do with my damn cane? [laugh] I still have a cell phone that doesn't do anything other than act like a wireless phone. It doesn't take pictures or video and it's not hooked up to the internet (aka: world wide web [laugh]) and I am perfectly happy with it. Don't get me started! Wait, where's my cane again? ;D
