It's not a fair poll if you pressure people!!
Apparently people here like bacon and they LOVE bacon with boobies!
If im cutting and (I assume) PCing the rear end with no quarter given to the passenger, im doing it to add an aluminum subframe. lighter, no tabs/brackets, change the lines how you see fit...

No pressure- in fact, it's just a fact that nobody is terribly comfortable with cutting the grab handles.

This has been encroached, and I may consider this option.
just ask DuckStew
It all depends on what you want to use the Monster for.
Here is the way I look at it:
If the Monster is your primary bike (I only have one) then you don't want to be caught without them because you will take trips (or commutes) that require a bag to be mounted.
If you are using the bike for show/track, you would take them off considering the aesthetic gains and weight reduction.
As far as the bacon and bacon and boobies go... well... idle hands will find something to grab.
I voted for keeping them on because that's how I plan to use my Monster.
i use that handle for putting bike on rearstand all the time.
I'm with am. I use the grab bars to drag my bike around when needed... ...like when I need to get it out of the living room. [cheeky] ...
Told'ya boobies would win. With or without bacon.

Boobies and bacon is now in a distant second.
If you want boobies and bacon to win, vote TODAY!!!!
If you love Bacon AND boobies, vote now!!!!
Or, if you want to confirm that cutting the grab bars was dumb, do so.
Not to throw a wrench in the mix, but if you are happy with having (already) cut them off - what does it matter what anyone else thinks? It's already done - all that matters is that you like them off.
I am happy that they are off; however, I ended up putting up a poll as I had no idea how polarising this concept was.
[thumbsup]
Depending on how you tabulate the votes, "No" wins; however, if you combine "boobies" and "boobies AND bacon", combined they beat "No" by one vote.
Boobies win.

How about a picture?
I'm keeping my on,i also use it to move the bike around, plus looking at the bike from the back it adds lines.
