Title: Road Trip to Sacramento... Post by: golgofett on February 03, 2011, 06:49:21 PM Unfortunately by cage but was looking for ideas for must see motorcycle shops and a good craft brewery for lunch.
Plan is to hit motowheels and cyclegear but was curious about any other shops/dealers. Is there a good ducati dealer in Sac? Title: Re: Road Trip to Sacramento... Post by: Heath on February 03, 2011, 09:29:29 PM Is there a good ducati dealer in Sac? That is a big NO. Goodtimes is not far from Cyclegear but it is not a good Ducati dealer. If you head up to A&S Powersports in Roseville that would be the better Ducati dealership in this area. It is actually only 6.3 miles north from Cyclegear.Double check Motowheels hours, because they may still be closed on the weekends. They usually do this around winter. Not sure when you plan on coming. Title: Re: Road Trip to Sacramento... Post by: golgofett on February 04, 2011, 05:28:22 AM It will be middle of next week.
Title: Re: Road Trip to Sacramento... Post by: Heath on February 04, 2011, 05:48:44 AM Cool. You have some good stops lined up. Stop by Motowheels and chat it up with the guys, they are all nice. Cyclegear is HUGE, sometimes I forget how nice it is to have such a big gear shop so local. A&S Powersports is the premier BMW dealership in the area. They added Ducati several years ago. Take some gear and maybe demo a bike or two if you have time. I can't really comment on the craft brewery. Not really my thing. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

Post by: golgofett on February 04, 2011, 06:25:16 PM As far as the brewery, I think Rubicon is it. Saw the Squeeze In on Food Network and the burgers looked awesome. My wife would be pissed if I went without her. Will have to keep that in mind for the next Ikea trip she makes me take.
Thanks all for the ideas. |
