Title: Need link to Termi pipes/ECU/filter install for 696
Post by: Dr. D on February 04, 2011, 02:37:55 PM

I know I have seen a video on installing Termi pipes/ECU/filter in a 696, but I can't find it.

Help?

Not on M696, but I think it's pretty similar. Hope it helps.

do a quick search in tech and accessories area for 696 air filter or battery
i think the video you are talking about is the 696 battery tender maybe.

the ECU and airfilter are under the tank and take a bit of patience but are easy

of course the exhausts are just slipons and easy

Raux:  You are right, it was the battery tender video I had seen.  And it does appear that the 'slip ons' are, uh, 'slip ons.'   [roll]

the steps are pretty simple really. and i've posted them at least a few times so a search should bring it up

Thanks for the inputs --- the work went fine and only took twice as long as I estimated.   [clap]

but a hell of a lot more satisfying than picking it up at the dealer after paying them to do the work (no offense to the dealers on the site ;) )
