Title: [1997 m600] exhaust heat shield question Post by: marcus xero on February 06, 2011, 05:53:57 AM Hi, I'm having serious trouble trying to find a replacement for a missing heat shield for my exhaust. Since i wasnt the person who initially fitted the system I cant locate a replacement. Hours of googling have turned up virtually nothing. I am wondering whether anyone here has any thoughts or experience with the pipe in question.
From my investigations it appears to be a Remus high end exhaust for a 1997 M600 monster. I have included pictures of said piece and a picture of the location of it. This is my last roll of the dice to be honest, I have had no luck elsewhere. I just hope someone here knows something about it. Does it have to bend downwards along the pipe? If these are not requirements - much easier to solve. All I see is the need for a cover to prevent your boot heel from melting.
