Title: Timonium bike show
Post by: Statler on February 09, 2011, 08:08:23 AM
any CAM northerners going?   Got a buddy looking for a deal on boots so we're heading over Saturday around 4:30ish.  Likely beer somewhere after.

Not sure it merits a Saturday or Sunday hike from DC parts unless your really, really like custom bikes. A lot of bar/show bikes and more than enough trikes. There are a few gems, though, including some nicely restored classics. Based on the crowd today it'll be bumpin' on Sat/Sun.

Pete's and Bob's were showing off their wares. Got to sit on the F800R; this bike is much better looking in person and seemed to fit me well. The new Harley Forty-Eight is a little different and I found myself staring at it for a while. And I added the new Yamaha FZ8 to my short-list.

I recommend An Poitin Stil (http://www.thestill.net/), an Irish restaurant across the street, when you find yourself hungry/thirsty (~$21/person including food and 2 pints).
