Title: snacktime!
Post by: KnightofNi on February 10, 2011, 10:53:47 PM
so i'm bored, can't sleep, and hungry. tha'ts not a good combo. i get inventive and it's usually not put to great use.

i went through the cabinets and found peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.
i have no bread though.

i then spotted oreos. i dont like oreos but i'll refer you to the first line

yes it was awful, but i think it's also somethign that could possibly sell in candy shops.

spread pb and fluff on an oreo. it was tasty and completely awful for me at the same time.

i am now crashing from a sugar high. at least i found a way to make myself sleep?

oh boy, that sounds fantastically nutritious. Make it part of your regular diet, what could go wrong?

You missed your chance for a lifetime of wealth.  You should have sold your recipe to Nabisco instead of publishing it here.

Uh oh           [puke]

Instead of Oreos try graham crackers.  My mom made that for me all the time as a kid.

Yes.

Also refer to Sac's post.  Pretty close to the mark.

Just no pineapple. I had a bad experience...

I think my strangest food combo was something I called "White Trash Sushi."

Hollow out a half-sour pickle, stuff it with cream cheese, and wrap the whole thing in Pastrami!  Sounds [puke] but surprisingly good.

If you don't want to go through the trouble of hollowing out the pickle, just pat it dry, then the cream cheese and pastami.   [drool]

I like corned beef a little better also, but all that was on hand that first time was pastrami.

Dammit!!! Now I want to go get some corned beef and try it that way...  [bang]

Yeah that's not strange

The hollowing of the pickle is

But that's about it

My mom would make those for Christmas

Deli meat with cream cheese spread wrapped around a baby dill

Forgot about those. My mom used to make 'em for family functions as well. Never was crazy about 'em.

Entire bag of pepper jack cheese cubes.

Hey, I live with two other dudes.  We don't keep "real" food around.

I can't do pickles, but I did make a cream cheese/ricotta/parmesan/italian sausage mix that got baked in an Anaheim pepper the other night.
