Where would I look to find a stiffer spring ? I weigh 240 and don't think the factory one is right for me.
Any tips would be appreciated
MotorCyclist did an article a few years ago on upgrades for the 620. I think it applies the 695.

It references RaceTech spring # SRSP S5818xx for the shock and RaceTech FRSP S382785 for the fork.
I contacted RaceTech about my 620 and they said they had no clue and that I'd have to send my shock in. I'm going to just ask for the above part numbers.
As noted above, RaceTech is a good source.
You will also need a pair of adapter shims as the replacement springs are slightly larger in diameter than stock.

Where do you get the adapter shims?
Thanks

Sorry I wasnt clear...the shims are from RaceTech as well.
You don't happen to have a part number or the size they need to be, do you?
From the emails I've received from them, it's clear they won't have an idea what the difference in length is...
Thanks,

Please do not use the RaceTech spring calculator. It's FUBAR for Monsters, it specs out a spring *way* too soft.
Spring spacer is SPSC5855, you'll need 2.
They've got 2 part# "series" of springs:
SRSP 5818_ _ _
For example: SRSP 5818116 - It's 58.2mm inside diameter x178mm long, rate is 11.6kg/mm
Oddly enough, this spring is 2.25" inside diameter, 7.00" long, and 650 lb/in.
SESP 702250_ _ _
For example: SESP 702250650 - This spring is 7.00" long, 2.25" inside diameter, and 650 lb/in.
You may notice this is the same spring as above.....
I got my spring from here, great prices and fast shipping.

The race tech site is a little confusing.
Which spring would I need from them? With gear on I am around 260...
Thanks
Ohlins will sell you a linear spring as well. It will be yellow, like the stock spring. So will Hyper Pro if you prefer purple. Spring rate? Dunno.
