LRB has pretty awesome receivers. Buy 30 and the sale price is $56.95 each (not including shipping)

That doesn't include the FFL transfer cost or shipping. I am trying to find an FFL who will do the transfer for at least 30 for a cut rate. Usually they do $20-30 per serial #. If I can get it down to $5-10 each, it would be worth it.
If you're interested, reply to this thread with how many you'd want. I just want 5.
Legal:
1. This would be shipped to Virginia.
2. Private sales are legal in Virginia, and since this is a rifle receiver, it can be sold to non-Virginia residents.
3. There is no paperwork requirement, but I'll want a copy of your driver license (and preferably CCW) for the sale. Blot out your birth date. But if I am selling 25+ receivers I want to cover my anus. You'll get a bill of sale from me.
That's about it. These are some of the best receivers I've seen and the price is unbeatable given their quality. I have an LRB M14 (semi) that I built from USGI parts and it's frickin' awesome. You can find other brands of receiver in this approximate range but they aren't as good, I guarantee you.
1. Ducatizzy = 5
Got a couple of nibbles by email, but I'm surprised so few people are interested.

interest is one thing....just a matter of timing for me right now with doing something like that with a Munchkin in the house and her being generally curious about everything I bring into the house even though she has not even a remote clue of any of my weapons in the house other than some pocket knives, a bat, and a sword...
I understand, mine are 3 1/2 and 22 months. You have too keep stuff out of reach and secure.
But you can buy a receiver and save it for later. Plus, it's fungible, you can resell it later if you change your mind, or build it and sell it if you find a good parts kit deal.
You can find cheaper AR receivers on gunbroker, but once you add in the shipping and transfer fees for a single piece, you are already above $80-100.
I have an FFL who is willing to deal, I'm haggling with him to do it for $5/each. I figure that makes the price each for these ~$65 shipped and in hand.
Can I sign you up for 5?
the question then remains....I am a MD resident, and more importantly(though not as much in this case I think) a federal republic of Montgomery County resident and would then have to deal with that logistic...
I don't know MD's stance on receivers. I know if its built you might have to register it. No problem for me to sell it rhp.
I can't see this kind of price! I want to build one up. I just spent my money on a "can" and a class III tax stamp. I still need to do the MD State Police paperwork.

When I decide I want to get a gun, I'll go dig up a Mosin-Nagant from a field somewhere. [laugh]

I thought that only applied to French and Italian rifles... :-[
I had to wait 7 days to pick up my $200 piece of machined metal (stripped lower) otherwise Id be in for 5!
Here in frickin MD you can only buy one per 30 days.....the numbered receiver is the regulated firearm.
Funny part is you can have a complete upper shipped directly to your house.....
Bud has a sweet deal on a complete ar-15 right now!
Tragic I didnt get it in before the dc ban. But hope is coming..... [thumbsup]
it legal to cross stay lines and buy a rifle, but not a pistol.
And private sales are legal in VA but that of course only applies to rifles.

I think that rule can be bypassed if you have a collectors liscence....I think...

rifle is one thing, but I think that in MD, this would fall under the list of "assault weapons" which classify different in the purchasing of things in comparo to other long guns like shotgun s and bolt action rifles and the like....
Yea, MD has a list of "mean looking" rifles........sucks.
When I bought my stripped lower, the dealer said if it was assembled as an HBAR, then I could have walked out with it same day. I wanted to assemble my own.......with a bayonet lug Dammit!
Anyone purchasing a lower in another state is required to do the legal reqs when returning home to a state with relevant regs.
Looks like I have an FFL who will do the transfer to me cheap. I'm working out the numbers, but he'll probably go for the 5-7$ range per receiver.
This is cheaper than you'll find any of the good AR receivers anywhere. Shipping will probably work out to 3-4 each as well (that means from LRB to the FFL), so the final price could be south of $70.
You just get your own parts kit and go.
The LRB receivers are some of the best, perfect spec.

It's an assault paperweight! lol
Wish I could take advantage of this amazing deal!
Hey Izzy- you still doing this?
I would if I can get enough interest.
I only have about a dozen spoken for.
If I could get close to 25 or so, I would start asking for deposits ($10?)
But I would love to do it. I need to call the FFL to make sure he's on board too, I think it freaked him out a bit.. LOL
I am interested too, but I only need one tho.... :-\
It might take a while to get enough ppl but I don' think the deal will go away. Just need the #
If you're interested, PM me your email address and I'll start a list.
Once I have enough, I'll email ppl for deposits -- probably $10.
